I tagged this with IF&WMS since I think par of these solutions in the context of solid wastes is biodigesters. I think IF&WMS in combination with more developed mycorestorative components may well be helpful. I have had a few interesting conversations with municipal representatives about the concept. They are employed, though the view/impression of their effectiveness varies.
